Prominent Assignments:
- Extensive experience in a variety of capital raising transactions and other securities transactions on behalf of private and public lenders and investors.
- Former Chairman/CEO/General Counsel of a $650M Michigan community bank. Oversaw the Bank’s day to day operations including chairing the Bank’s Asset Liability Committee, insuring compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies, managing a $170M institutional investment portfolio and developing the bank’s strategic plans.
- Appointed by former Governor Jennifer Granholm to Chair the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Responsibilities included oversight and regulation of Michigan’s $1.2 billion gaming industry.
- Served as IBM’s in-house counsel for various IBM divisions. Specialties included nationwide employment, labor, distribution, environmental and antitrust law. Appeared as counsel of record in dozens of Federal Courts throughout the United States.
